2004 Golden Heart Finalists

Kelsy George is the pen name of a writer living in Canada where she, her husband and three dogs are full-time RVers in the truest sense of the word.

Writing wasn't always important to Kelsy except as a way to make a living. For eight years she wrote advertising copy for newspaper ads, radio scripts for a classical music program, radio commercials and the occasional script for serious issue-type programming. An article in Equus Magazine was her first published work with a children's coloring-book story the next.

Between writing for a living and writing as a passion, Kelsy raised and showed horses and dogs, ran her own business for sixteen years and kept a host of ideas in her head for future reference.

In just two years, Kelsy has written 9 complete manuscripts, has eight works-in-progress, one short story that is to be published in the October issue of ARABELLA ROMANCES magazine, and two sold to WAX ROMANTIC, the online ezine for romance readers. BLIND JUSTICE, a thriller/suspense with romantic elements was a finalist in the Romance Writers of America Golden Heart contest in the Best Novel with Strong Romantic Elements category in 2004.

Kelsy is an active member of a number of email lists for writers and figures one of these days she'll learn when to keep her mouth shut. She has also served as a volunteer judge for a number of writing contests.
